One individual was left with indicators of hypothermia after an early morning water rescue alongside Kempenfelt Bay.
Simply earlier than 7 a.m. on Friday, police obtained a name for help close to 15 Lakeshore Drive in Barrie.
Asst. Deputy Fireplace Chief Eric McFadden with the Barrie Fireplace Division stated police referred to as the workforce to the scene, upon arrival, the crew placed on their water rescue immersion dry fits and started strolling by the water till they received to the person.
Officers say he was retrieved in waist deep water and later arrested.
Emergency crews remained on the scene till paramedics arrived and transported the person to Royal Victoria Regional Hospital.
It’s unclear how the man ended up within the water and what led to his arrest.
