Two individuals are going through drug trafficking charges after what provincial police are calling the biggest fentanyl seizure in Simcoe County.
Ontario Provincial Police launched an investigation in October into two people allegedly trafficking medicine within the County, and mentioned on Thursday a coordinated visitors cease was carried out on Mosley Road in Wasaga Seaside.
Officers allegedly seized 1,039 grams of fentanyl, 1971.3 grams of cocaine, 998.5 grams of methamphetamine, 178 cartons of contraband cigarettes, and greater than $4,200 in money.
Police arrested a 38-year-old man and a 40-year-old woman, each from Wasaga Seaside.
The 2 accused face greater than a dozen charges.
