Emergency crews had been known as to attend a fireplace that broke out in a grassy space in Barrie on Thursday morning.
Firefighters shortly extinguished the hearth that unfold to a diametre of roughly 15 ft at Vespra and Victoria Streets, close to Innisfil Road.
The hearth chief says it’s unclear if this was an encampment, noting nobody was within the space on the time, nonetheless, there have been a number of tents, tarps and gadgets within the neighborhood of the hearth.
The chief stated the hearth consisted primarily of some wood skids.
No accidents had been reported.
The reason for the hearth is beneath investigation.
