Barbara Taylor (nee Smith) aged 83, of Barrie, Ontario, handed away abruptly but peacefully on Tuesday night, January twenty eighth, 2025. She was a cherished spouse, mom, and grandmother, whose heat smile and loving coronary heart shall be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Barbara was born on April 18, 1941 in Hamilton, Ontario. She married her loving husband, George W. Taylor, on June 23, 1962, sharing 63 years of marriage full of love, laughter and numerous reminiscences. They travelled the world collectively. She was a loyal mom to Darcy and Dave who usually travelled with them.
Barb was identified for her kindness. She was at all times there for her household and buddies. She beloved to bounce, sing, journey and would by no means miss a household dinner! Most of all Barb beloved being a mother and adored the corporate of her husband George. Barb had an impeccable style sense and eye for inside design. She would usually be discovered on the golf course or strolling Kempenfelt drive along with her buddies.
She was actively concerned in the neighborhood conducting volunteer work with the Woman’s Auxiliary at RVH the place she touched many lives along with her generosity and spirit.
Barb is survived by her husband, George, her youngsters, Darcy (Kelly) and Dave (AnneMarie) and her grandchildren, Emilia, Anderson, Joey and William in addition to her brother Dave Smith (Trisha).
A celebration of life shall be held within the spring. Date to be decided.
