The Ontario Hockey League (OHL) at present introduced disciplinary motion ensuing from the regular-season sport of Saturday, Nov. 9 between the Barrie Colts and visiting Sudbury Wolves.

The next suspensions stem from an altercation that befell with 1:06 remaining within the third interval.

The league beforehand introduced that Sudbury participant Blake Clayton has obtained an computerized two-game suspension because of being assessed a sport misconduct for being the third man concerned within the altercation. Clayton has now served one sport of this two-game suspension and is eligible to return on Nov. 17.

The OHL has additionally handed down a five-game suspension to Barrie participant Evan Passmore because of his contravention of the OHL’s bullying coverage. Passmore was assessed a match penalty for his position within the altercation, and is eligible to return on Nov. 24.

The OHL bullying coverage states: “Bullying in the OHL is an incident in which a player demonstrates an act of repeated aggressive, physical behaviour towards an opposing player who chooses not to respond to such action(s).”

Moreover, the OHL has suspended Barrie participant Cole Dubowsky for 2 video games. One sport of Dubowsky’s sentence is credited to being the instigator of a struggle within the last 5 minutes of the sport. The opposite sport is assigned to this incident being his second combating main in the identical sport. He’s eligible to return on Nov. 16.
