Setting Canada is asking for extra snow squalls and winter climate journey advisories for central Ontario.


Snow Squall Warnings are anticipated in Barrie, Collingwood, Hillsdale, Owen Sound, the Blue Mountains and Northern Gray County.


The nationwide climate company expects snowfall with an accumulation of 10 to twenty centimetres of snow by Wednesday night time.


Extra frigid temperatures of windchill of -28C within the morning adopted by -20C within the afternoon will compound the blustery climate. Winds are anticipated to gust between 20 kilometres per hour and 50 km/h.


The Climate Journey Advisory is in impact for Barrie, Collingwood, Hillsdale, Innisfil, New Tecumseth, Angus, Owen Sound, Blue Mountains, Northern Gray County,Shelburne, Mansfield, and Northern Dufferin County.


Bands of lake-effect snow will proceed to have an effect on the realm via Wednesday. Heavy snow and blowing snow may be anticipated at instances.
