Police are investigating an alleged hit-and-run after a person was discovered deceased in conjunction with the street in Springwater Township early Wednesday morning.
Provincial police say a male was discovered alongside Freeway 26 between Hanmer Avenue East in Barrie and Carson Street someday round 2:30 a.m.
They are saying the deadly incident concerned the pedestrian and a transport truck, including no different automobiles have been positioned on the scene.
Police closed a piece of Freeway 26 for the investigation. It reopened round 11 a.m. Wednesday.
The identities of the sufferer and driver haven’t been launched.
It is unclear if any charges can be laid.
