FILE – South Simcoe Police Service cruiser
Two men, both 22 years old, are facing charges after a lengthy investigation into organized theft at multiple Home Depot locations across Ontario.
According to South Simcoe Police, these incidents took place from November 2025 until last month in Barrie, Bradford, Orillia, and Markham.
The police claim the suspects used various methods to avoid paying fully for their purchases, such as partially scanning items at self-checkout and making fraudulent returns.
The individuals, hailing from Innisfil and Thornhill, have been charged with several counts of theft, fraud, and possession of stolen property.
