Ontario is investing $93 million to develop Ornge Air Ambulance’s fleet to spice up entry to essential take care of folks in distant and northern components of the province, with two extra high-speed, long-distance plane, a brand new hangar in Simcoe County, and extra frontline employees.

Together with increasing the fleet, the province can also be investing $25 million to rent 102 extra frontline employees by 2029, together with paramedics, pilots, and aviation mechanics to make sure plane are all the time prepared when wanted.


The funding will even assist the growth of Ornge’s psychological well being affected person transport group, which has already offered in-flight psychological well being care to greater than 700 sufferers in its first yr.
