Residents in Barrie took it to social media after recognizing a heavy police presence in numerous components of the town’s west finish.
On Saturday morning, Barrie law enforcement officials on common patrol noticed a car being pushed “erratically” by a suspected impaired driver.
In keeping with police, a number of makes an attempt had been made to cease the car “as it continued to be operated dangerously.”
Police say the car crashed into one car at Essa Highway and Innisfil Road after which hit a marked Barrie police cruiser at Cityview Circle and Ferndale Drive South.
Officers later discovered the car in a car parking zone.
Members of the tactical crew and detectives with the Prison Investigation Unit confirmed up at a house within the Essa Highway and Loggers Run space and arrested a 27-year-old woman.
Police say she is going through a number of charges, together with drug possession, and was wished on an excellent warrant.
