A Freeway 400 exit ramp in Barrie was closed for practically 24 hours following stories of a sinkhole.
In response to the Ministry of Transportation, crews had been known as to the Dunlop Road northbound ramp round 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday after a contractor found the one-metre deep and two-metre-wide sinkhole throughout an inspection

All lanes had been closed for crews to make the mandatory repairs, forcing visitors to detour across the space.
“Repairs have been undertaken, and the ramp was reopened,” the ministry confirmed. The exit ramp was reopened to visitors round 10 a.m. Wednesday.
The ministry mentioned its workers are monitoring the realm.
