It’s with deep unhappiness that the household publicizes the passing of Donna Marion Harris, who died peacefully on November 3, 2024, at Royal Victoria Regional Well being Centre in Barrie, Ontario. Donna was born on January 2, 1946, at RVH in Barrie, and had the particular distinction of being the primary child born in Barrie in 1946.
Donna grew up on a farm in Thornton, Ontario. Donna was predeceased by her beloved mother and father, Cecil and Marion Harris. She is survived by her devoted twin brother Dennis (Peggy) and her elder brothers Melvyn (the late June) and Gary (Brenda). She can even be deeply missed by her many cousins, nieces, and nephews. The household want to prolong their gratitude to Donna’s devoted help staff over time—John, Kim, Karen, and Nickey—whose compassion, endurance, and friendship enriched Donna’s life immeasurably.
A Celebration of Life will likely be held on November thirteenth, 2024, at Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Dwelling, 30 Worsley St., Barrie from 11-1 pm. Gentle refreshments will likely be made out there. An Interment will happen at Barrie Union Cemetery, 338 Sunnidale Rd., Barrie following the reception.
