Provincial police are investigating a multi-vehicle collision that claimed the life of 1 particular person in Springwater Township Wednesday morning.
Police say the crash involving three autos occurred on Penetanguishene Street (Freeway 93) round 6:30 a.m. north of Freeway 400.
Paramedics pronounced a 46-year-old driver lifeless on the scene.
Police say a 25-year-old driver was taken to an area hospital as a precaution, whereas the third driver sustained minor accidents.
A piece of Penetanguishene Street was closed for a number of hours for the investigation.
It has since reopened.
