A 36-year-old man faces a number of charges after a downtown Barrie break-and-enter name led to a standoff with metropolis police on Monday morning.

On Nov. 4 at 5:52 a.m., police say officers responded to a report of a break-in at a Mary Avenue workplace constructing, positioned simply south of Dunlop Avenue West.
