It’s with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Norman Albert Bell, who left us peacefully on January 23, 2025, on the age of 85. Born in Toronto, Ontario, on January 22, 1940, Norman later made his dwelling in Barrie, Ontario, the place he constructed a life full of affection, dedication, and cherished recollections together with his spouse and three daughters.
Norman was a hardworking and devoted man, spending 40 years as a devoted tanker truck driver for Sunoco, a profession he took immense delight in. His sturdy work ethic, reliability, and kindness earned him the respect of colleagues and associates alike.
Above all, Norman’s best ardour was his household. He was a loving husband to Gaile Bell (nee Ware) with whom he shared a lifetime of affection and companionship. As a faithful father, he took excessive delight in his three daughters: Tracy Ezekiel (Wayne), Debra Walker (Steve), and one of the best daughter of all Sandra “Sam” Parsons (Andy “Motor”). He was additionally a cherished Grandfather to Aaryn Ezekiel, Norman Ezekiel, Britney Walker, Conner Walker, Curtis Walker, Riley Walker, Lyndsey Pleasance (nee Parsons),Trent Parsons and 14 Nice Grandchildren. All of whom he adored and supported with unwavering love.
Loving son of Albert Bell and Joyce Bell (nee Osborne), brother of Joyce, Barbara, Paul and Chris.
Norman might be remembered for his heat coronary heart, his unwavering dedication to his household, and his capacity to convey a smile to everybody he met. His presence might be deeply missed, however his legacy of affection, energy, and kindness will dwell on in those that knew him.
A celebration of life to honour Norman’s life might be held on the Sheba Shrine corridor at 142 John Avenue in Barrie on Saturday February 8, 2025 1 pm-5 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations will be made to Simcoe Hospice, in Norman’s reminiscence.
