Steve Kearsey discovered a full driveway of snow at his Adelaide Road dwelling at noon Saturday.

“I didn’t realize there was so much,” he stated, idling his snowblower. “I would have come out yesterday (Friday).”

Clint Reynolds and his daughters, Freya, who’s eight years outdated, and five-year-old Margot, have been having fun with the storm in from of their Holgate Road dwelling.

“Believe it or not, I do like shovelling snow,” stated Reynolds, as his women performed with a sled and their canine, Bea. “It keeps me active.”

Freya stated the snow was enjoyable to play in; Margot stated she appreciated sledding.

“My grandfather said as he grew older, he liked the snow a little less every year,” Reynolds stated. “The pattern is we aren’t getting the winters I bought once I was a child (in Barrie).

“I would say the patterns are changing. It does impact our everyday lives.”

Reynolds famous Barrie winters have a sample of snow, soften and rain — noting the close by Shear Park outside ice rink was barely accessible final winter as a result of the climate was so gentle at instances.

Sunday’s Barrie forecast can also be for flurries and native snow squalls.
