(April 4, 1928 – January 17, 2025) – Handed away peacefully at Royal Victoria Hospital on Thursday, January 17, 2025 on the age of 96. Marie was born in Owen Sound, Ontario however lived in Barrie most of her life. Marie was a longtime member of Burton Avenue United Church, a member of the UCW (United Church Ladies) and constitution member of the Kinette Membership of Barrie. Marie spent a few years working alongside aspect her husband Ross of their refrigeration enterprise. Loving spouse of Ross for 70 years. Predeceased by brothers Melville, Wilbur and RB. Cherished mom of Elaine (Frazer), David (Nancy) and the late Catharine. Adored grandma of Matthew (Kate), Braden (Cindy), Jill (Chris), Janet (Evan), Carley (Al), Aaron and Drew (Morgan). Nice-grandma of Liam, Alexa, Mylan, Kailey, Ashtyn, Jemma, Maddox, Delilah, Nash, Thomas, Nicholas, Archer and Levi.
Buddies could name at BURTON AVENUE UNITED CHURCH (37 Burton Avenue, Barrie) on Saturday, February 15, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. till the time of Funeral Service at 11:00 o’clock a.m. with a reception to observe.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations to the Humane Society could be appreciated.
