OTTAWA, Ont. – In front of a record-breaking audience in Ottawa, Ontario, Saturday night, Tanner Eno (Coronation, Alberta) achieved a significant career milestone by going a perfect 2-for-2 to secure his first-ever victory at a PBR (Professional Bull Riders) Canada Cup Series event during the PBR Ottawa Classic held at the Canadian Tire Centre.

The 2026 PBR Ottawa Classic attracted the largest single-night crowd ever for PBR Canada, with over 10,100 fans present inside the Canadian Tire Centre.

As the competition began, Eno kicked off with an impressive start, winning Round 1 with an 85.6-point ride on Poor Boys Pistol Grip (Legend Rodeo).

With the first pick in the championship round bull draft, Eno decided to take on Stray Bucks (S& M Bucking Bulls). With confidence evident in his nod, Eno burst from the chutes at the home of the NHL’s Ottawa Senators, staying perfectly timed with the powerful bull as he completed the required eight seconds. Scoring 87.9 points for this qualified ride was enough to secure him the win.

This victory marks Eno’s first win in an elite Cup Series event and his third overall in all levels of PBR competition. His last win came during a July 2025 Touring Pro Division event in Kinsella, Alberta.

Leaving Canada’s capital city with essential 126 national points, Eno climbed from No. 27 to No. 11 in the growing race for the 2026 PBR Canada Championship and its accompanying $100,000 bonus. He now trails leader Nick Tetz (Calgary, Alberta) by 557.83 points.

Tetz went 1-for-2 and finished eighth while collecting 17 national points. After scoring 83 points on Chit Chat (Outlaw Buckers Rodeo Corp.) during Round 1, Tetz was uncharacteristically bucked off Day Thuggin (S& M Bucking Bulls) in just over five seconds during the final round.

Remaining No. 1 in Canada, Tetz maintains a lead of over 336.83 points ahead of second place Gilmar Santana (Ouro Preto, Brazil).

Santana also had a solid showing going 1-for-2 finishing sixth and earning himself 29 national points. Attempting to make history as the first Brazilian ever crowned as PBR Canada Champion, Santana scored an impressive ride of 85 points on Rattle Bones (CJ Bucking Bulls) but was thrown off by Affairs In Order (Thompson Rodeo Livestock) after just over five seconds during championship round.

Veteran rider Jordan Hansen (Amisk, Alberta) returned to lead at this event’s leaderboard taking second place and earning himself valuable national points totaling up to93.

Hansen got started strong by outlasting Says Who (Thompson Rodeo/K Rose Ranch) for an initial score of84.5points before delivering high-marked ride of this event when he partnered with reigning PBR Canada Bull of Year Moonwalk (Thompson Rodeo Livestock), scoring88.7points.

The bull Moonwalk received remarkable marks totaling43.3points making him YETI “Built for Wild” Bull Event winner-a title he’s claimed four times this season-allowing him to sweep this award across all three Cup Series events held within Ontario throughout the 2026 season.

Aiming for his own chance at claiming that coveted championship title come season’s end, Hansen rose significantly moving from No22to No8in national standings closing within54733pointsof Tetzwho sits atop rankingsnow.

Two-time champion Dakota Buttar(Eatonia, Saskatchewan)came through strong landing third position overall.

Buttar managed collect71nationalpoints thanks to86point ride atop Write This Down( Thompson Rodeo Livestock )from Round oneand87 point effort aboard Joker On A Jack( Thompson Rodeo/K Rose Ranch )duringchampionshipround.
