A man from Barrie is facing charges after police say he performed an indecent act in a schoolyard while parents were dropping off their kids Thursday morning.
According to a news release, officers found the suspect with 14 cards that didn’t belong to him.
Police received reports about a man acting indecently in the schoolyard on Cloughley Drive around 7:40 a. m. on June 11 as parents arrived with their children.
Investigators noted that many parents were present at that time.

Officers found the suspect not far from the scene and took him into custody.
During their investigation, police discovered that he was carrying 14 debit and credit cards belonging to other individuals.

A 28-year-old man from Barrie has been charged with committing an indecent act in a public area and breaching a recognizance.
