It’s with nice disappointment that we announce the passing of Gerald “Gerry” Charles Mason on June 12, surrounded by family members on the Peterborough Regional Well being Centre after a brave battle with most cancers.
Beloved partner to Kim Ahern of 18 years. Loving and cherished father to Christopher (Kristine Jackson), Carley (James Walker) and Hannah (Jake DeJager) and loving step father to Sarah Morris (Michael Bennett), Braeden Morris (Marissa Brief), and Amanda Morris (Joseph Da Silva). Proud grandpa to Ella, Evelyn, and Kai. Predeceased by his loving mother and father Eileen and George Mason, and predeceased by his sister Marianne. Gerry might be sadly missed by many particularly the Ahern household and his many buddies together with the Penn Brothers and his forest {golfing} household.
Gerry was enthusiastic in regards to the sport of golf. A CGTF educating skilled for 19 years. Gerry loved educating varied golf applications and classes at Liftlock Golf Course and at present of Keystone. He was passionate in regards to the sport and was all the time excited to share that pleasure with others. His favorite being rising the sport for youth which was seen by his dedication to varied youngsters camps and the First Tee Ontario program. Gerry was very devoted to his work. His time at Trent College within the grounds division and passionate work with the union was unmatched.
