Marianne Elizabeth Nostadt (Nee Renaud)

October 29th, 1937 – April 11th, 2025

It is with great sadness that we share the news of Marianne Nostadt’s passing (Nee Renaud). She left us peacefully at the age of 87, surrounded by her loved ones. Now she is reunited with her husband Frank, who passed away in 2002.

She was a loving mother to Karen Kirk, Kevin (Joan Wonsch) Nostadt, Susan (Sam) Girimonte, and Judy (Brad) Wylie. Marianne was a cherished grandmother to Gavin (Maeghan) Kirk, Kelsey (Neal) Kirk, Kaitlyn (Karl) Kirk, Ryan (Alex) Nostadt, Matthew (Martha) Nostadt, Anthony Girimonte, Rachel Girimonte, Nicholas (Hailey) Wylie, Noah Wylie and a great grandmother to Abigaille Kirk. She was also a dear daughter of Elmer (1960) and Violet (Nee Jobin, 2004) Renaud. Caring sister to Donald (Leah) and Carol (Jim Donaldson).

Marianne served as the past president of the Canadian Association of Fire Chiefs Ladies Auxiliary and was an active member of the Red Hat QTPies. For many years she worked as a medical technologist at Detroit Memorial Hospital. A true fan of Elvis Presley, she brought joy to those around her. Her friends and family will miss her dearly.

Visitation will take place at Windsor Chapel located at 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E (519-253-7234) on Monday April 14, 2025 from 2-5pm and again from 7-9pm. The visitation will continue at Our Lady Of Mt. Carmel Church at 4401 Mt Royal Dr. on Tuesday April 15, 2025 starting at 9am until the Mass of Christian Burial begins at 10am. Entombment will follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to Transition to Betterness or the Canadian National Institute for the Blind or any charity you prefer. You can share online condolences and treasured memories with the family at www. windsorchapel. com
