A child is currently hospitalized with life-threatening injuries after being hit by a vehicle in a north London parking lot on Thursday afternoon.
Emergency responders were called to the area of Adelaide Street North and Sunningdale Road around 5:20 p. m. following a 911 call about a pedestrian who had been struck, according to police reports.
Upon arrival, officers discovered a child suffering from severe injuries. The child was transported to the hospital by paramedics due to the serious, life-threatening nature of their condition.
Authorities mentioned that the vehicle involved stayed at the scene.
No information has been released regarding potential charges.
Police are encouraging anyone who was in the vicinity between 5:10 p. m. and 5:40 p. m. on Thursday to reach out if they have any information, dashcam footage, or video surveillance from homes or businesses related to the incident.
