Flora passed away peacefully on May 7th, 2025 at Hotel Dieu Grace Healthcare, surrounded by her family.
She is now reunited with her dear husband Vincenzo and her beloved son Tony Carlini.
She was a loving mother to Clara Carlini-Brown (Russell) and Claudia (Pasquale) Barba. Flora was a cherished Nonna to Giulian (Rebecca), Antonio, and Gianluca (Lauren).
Flora was predeceased by her parents Domenico and Amelia Fraccola, along with her sister Gina (Antonio).
Mom was born in S. Angelo in Theodice, Cassino, Italy and moved to Canada in 1957 with her parents. She married our Dad Vincenzo in 1960, and together they built our family. Mom had a passion for cooking; she often made homemade pasta, bread, and pizza for everyone to enjoy. She loved being around her family, especially her grandsons who brought her so much happiness. She had a warm spirit with a beautiful smile and bright blue eyes. We feel the loss deeply already.
A heartfelt thank you goes out to the wonderful staff on the palliative unit at HDGH-especially Kim, Brittany, Michelle, Griffin, Jules, and Lori-for taking such compassionate care of our mom.
The funeral mass will take place on Tuesday, May 13th, 2025 at St. Angela Merici Church located at 980 Louis Ave, Windsor at 10:30 am. Following the mass, there will be a private family entombment as per Flora’s wishes.
If you wish to honor Flora’s memory, donations can be made to Transition to Betterness (T2B) instead of sending flowers.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Windsor Chapel – South Chapel at 3048 Dougall Avenue in Windsor.
