All school transportation services in Waterloo Region and Guelph are cancelled on Wednesday because of the risk of freezing rain.

This affects school buses, taxis, and special education routes, impacting students from both the local public and Catholic school boards.

All schools will still be open.

St. Louis online, daytime, and evening classes are running as scheduled, and Community Use Programs are continuing as well.

Environment Canada has issued a warning about significant freezing rain expected on Wednesday. An orange alert was in effect until early afternoon when it was changed to a yellow advisory.
