A person was discovered dead at a residence in Vaughan early Saturday morning, according to York Regional Police.
Officers were dispatched to the vicinity of Andreeta Drive and Barons Street just after 1 a. m. following reports of an injured individual.
Upon their arrival, police reported that one victim was declared dead on the scene.
Authorities have not clarified whether the injured person and the deceased were the same or if others were present in the home during the incident.
No details about the victim, such as their gender or age, have been made public yet.
