The County of Simcoe is letting residents know that some services will be closed or changed for the Family Day holiday, but waste collection will still happen as planned.

The County of Simcoe wants to inform residents about the following schedule adjustments during the Family Day holiday on Monday, Feb. 16, 2026. Curbside Waste Collection and Waste Drop-off Facilities LINX Transit LINX Transit services won’t be running on February 16 (except for Route 4) Route 4 will operate on a Sunday schedule on Monday, February 16 Regular service resumes for all routes on Tuesday, February 17 To check route schedules, please visit https://nextlinx. simcoe. ca/ County Administration Centre (Midhurst) & Service Simcoe Contact Centre The Administration Centre and the Service Simcoe Contact Centre will be closed on February 16. Ontario Works and Children Services All Ontario Works and Children Services offices will not be open on February 16. Lake Simcoe Regional Airport The Lake Simcoe Regional Airport will be operational on February 16. Simcoe County Museum The Simcoe County Museum is open on February 16 with special programming for Family Day.
