Clara has been welcomed into the arms of the Lord forever after passing away peacefully in hospital on February 11, 2026. Born in Ferland, Ontario, she lived in Armstrong before moving to Thunder Bay. Clara was a warm-hearted and generous person, always ready to lend a hand to those in need. She loved playing bingo and cards. She regularly attended Sunday Mass at St. Andrew’s Church where everyone, young and old, held her dear. A lovely lady who will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. She is survived by her daughter Jessie Laforest, sisters Christine and Stella, partner Iain, two grandsons Mark and Adam, two great grandsons Kingston and Jet, along with many nieces, nephews and other family members. Thank you to Dr. Murray and Dr. Probizanski for their outstanding care over the years. Funeral services will take place on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, at 11:00 a. m. at St. Andrew’s R. C. Church, 294 Red River Road. Visitation will occur at the church for one hour prior to the Funeral Mass.

On-line condolences may be made at www. sargentandson. com.
