One person has been taken to the hospital after a serious motorcycle accident on Young’s Point Road close to County Road 20 in Young’s Point. On Friday, July 4, 2025, at around 8:45 p. m., officers from the Peterborough OPP responded to reports of a motorcyclist who went into a ditch and was thrown off the bike. The individual was transported to the hospital and later airlifted to a trauma center in Toronto due to life-altering injuries. Young’s Point Road was closed for several hours while emergency teams and OPP Technical Collision Investigators worked at the scene.
