Greenstone OPP, TIME team investigates accident involving two commercial trucks and a pickup
GREENSTONE, ON – Feb. 12, 2026 – Highway 11 is back open following a tragic three-vehicle crash northeast of Geraldton that resulted in one fatality and multiple injuries, according to Ontario Provincial Police. The Greenstone OPP reported that officers responded around 5:30 p. m. EST to the scene of the collision near Kenogamisis Dam Road which involved two commercial motor vehicles and one pickup truck. Authorities say the driver of the pickup, a 43-year-old man from Toronto, was pronounced dead at the scene.Injuries and hospital transfers
According to OPP, two individuals, including a passenger in the pickup, were airlifted to hospitals with serious injuries. A third person was also taken to hospital with injuries that haven’t been confirmed yet.Highways 11 and 631 reopen
Parts of Highway 11 and Highway 631 were closed for some time while the OPP Traffic Incident Management Enforcement (TIME) team conducted its investigation.
