A homeowner in Vaughan has been taken into custody after he fired a gun while thieves were trying to steal a luxury car from his driveway early Thursday morning.
Authorities arrived at a home near Pine Valley Drive and Teston Road just after 5:30 a. m. following reports of individuals allegedly attempting to steal a Lamborghini parked in the driveway.
As per investigators, four suspects have been apprehended – three adults and one minor – and they are currently on the lookout for an additional suspect.
An eyewitness informed 680 News Radio that it was his brother who discharged one shot into the air to scare off the suspects during the robbery attempt.
Investigators have filed several charges as they continue their search for another suspect.
