I’m so sorry to hear about Barney’s passing. He was the kindest and most considerate person I’ve ever met. I feel really fortunate to have known him and worked alongside him at General Motors for many years. He’ll truly be missed by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Dear Debbie, I have so many memories of Sunday dinners at Meme and Pepe Benoit’s house-eating, drinking, and playing cards (the adults did that while we kids watched). Pepe would toss money in the grass for us to find. It makes me think of the song “Those Were The Days My Friend”. Losing family is tough; it feels like our generation must keep these memories alive. There’s a genealogy of the Venne’s (Meme Parent) that we need to add our generation to. Hopefully we can gather together to complete the Benoit’s before time slips away. Love, Lorna

Dear Debbie, I’m really sorry about your dad’s loss and my brother’s too. He held a special place in my heart. I’m going to miss him deeply. I wish I could be there with you but know I’m sending hugs and kisses your way. Uncle Ray and I will see you both when we come home. We’ll all miss him so much but we’re lucky to have all those wonderful memories.
