Robert Earl Brown OBITUARY

Robert Earl Brown was called to his heavenly home on January 9, 2026. He was born in Roseville, Michigan, the oldest child of Herbert and Martha Brown. He was baptized and confirmed into the Lutheran Church. Robert’s family moved to Glendora, CA where he graduated from Citrus High School and Citrus Junior College. In 1958 Robert enlisted in the Army and was trained for the command of a microwave relay station in Stuttgart, Germany for 2 years. Robert met his wife Shirley Mosshammer, a teacher at Hope Lutheran Church and School, where later they were married on November 24, 1962. Robert was employed by Pacific Telephone and Telegraph and AT& T. He and Shirley were blessed with 4 children and lived in the same house in Ontario for 58 years. The family were members of Redeemer Lutheran Church in Ontario and First Lutheran Church in Lake Elsinore. In 1990 Robert bought Alosta Ace Hardware in Glendora on Route 66 and became involved in the Chamber of Commerce and the Rotary Club. Faith in Christ, love for his family, and service to others were the themes of Robert’s life. He will always be in the hearts of his wife of 63 years, his 4 children, 13 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren.
