Police report that two men and a 15-year-old boy are facing charges related to the theft of cellphones from a store in Milton over the weekend, along with an attempted robbery just two days later in Oakville.

Halton Regional Police indicated that there are more suspects still at large and stated on Wednesday that they are actively investigating both incidents.

As per police, four masked individuals dressed in black entered a Bell store located at 1099 Maple Ave. in Milton around 4:15 p. m. this past Saturday and demanded that employees hand over cellphones.

Authorities say the thieves managed to grab multiple phones before escaping in a grey Honda CR-V.

A couple of days later, around 6:30 p. m. on Monday, officers reportedly spotted a similar vehicle parked outside a Rogers store at 1500 Upper Middle Rd. in Oakville.

Police observed three people inside the vehicle, all dressed in black and wearing masks. Officers “quickly intervened to block the vehicle’s escape and arrest the three occupants prior to entering the Rogers store.”

The police confirmed that the Honda was stolen from Toronto.

Shaquane Grant, 28, Nathan Richards-Dick, 19, and a 15-year-old boy from Toronto face various robbery-related charges. All three were held in custody awaiting their bail hearing at Milton court.

Investigators continue to look for additional individuals believed to have participated in the Bell store robbery and encourage anyone with information to reach out to the 1 District Criminal Investigations Bureau at 905-825-4777, ext. 2416.

If you have any information about the Oakville Rogers store incident, please contact the 2 District Criminal Investigations Bureau at 905-825-4777, ext. 2216.
