The Ottawa 67’s were eliminated from the Ontario Hockey League playoffs Saturday night after a 4-1 loss to the Barrie Colts.

The Colts move on to the OHL Eastern Conference Final after defeating Ottawa in five games.

Colts forward Cole Beaudoin, who grew up in Ottawa, hurt the 67’s by scoring twice early in the game.

The 67s finally scored late in the second period when Nic Whitehead took advantage of a mistake by the Colts’ defense.

The Colts responded with two more goals in the third period, including one into an empty net, sealing their victory.

Barrie will now take on the Brantford Bulldogs in the Eastern Conference Final. The Western Conference Final will feature Kitchener against Windsor.
