A 25-year-old man has been taken into custody regarding a deadly assault in a parking lot in Brampton last week, according to Peel police.
The suspect and the victim had an argument that turned into a physical altercation in a parking lot close to Castlemore Road and Mc Vean Drive on January 12, as stated by Peel Regional Police in a news release.
The victim sustained serious injuries from the attack and passed away in the hospital on January 15, police report.
On Tuesday, law enforcement arrested and charged a Brampton resident with manslaughter. He remains in custody awaiting a bail hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice.
