York Region police report that three houses in the east end of Vaughan were hit by gunfire this past weekend.

Officers responded to a call about shots being fired at a residence near Farrell Road and Via Romano Boulevard, just west of Bathurst Avenue, around 6:30 a. m. on Saturday.

Investigators say a man was seen firing several rounds at the house before speeding away in a dark sedan.

The following day, police went to another home in the same area for reports of shots fired around 4:45 a. m. on Sunday.

Authorities also received reports of shots fired at another residence near Pottery Place and Blue Willow Drive, close to Highway 400 and Highway 7, at about 4:20 a. m. Sunday.

All three homes were occupied during the incidents, but fortunately no one was injured.

“In all three incidents, a dark-colored sedan was observed fleeing the scene, and it is currently believed to be
the same vehicle involved,” authorities stated in an announcement made on Sunday. “Investigators have established a link between two of the incidents, but investigation remains ongoing.”

York police noted that one suspect was spotted at each location. However, no suspects have been identified so far.

Anyone with information is urged to contact police.
