U. S. Will Consider Oil Shipments to Cuba Individually

The White House press secretary, Karoline Leavitt, mentioned on Monday that the U. S. will assess oil shipments to Cuba on a case-by-case basis after a Russian tanker was permitted to deliver fuel.

“Just to clarify, why was the administration OK with Russia sending that oil to Cuba and not other nations?” “Look, again, this was a decision. It will continue to be made on a case-by-case basis for humanitarian reasons or otherwise. But there’s been no firm change in our sanctions policy.”

The White House press secretary, Karoline Leavitt, mentioned on Monday that the U. S. will assess oil shipments to Cuba on a case-by-case basis after a Russian tanker was permitted to deliver fuel.
