A father and one of his children are in critical condition after a crash in the Markham area, while another child in the vehicle also suffered serious injuries.
On Friday afternoon, a father and his two young kids were hurt, with two of them facing critical injuries, due to a head-on collision in Markham.
The incident took place around 4:45 p. m. near Major Mackenzie Drive and Mc Cowan Road.
In an update provided to CP24 on Saturday morning, York Regional Police reported that a 42-year-old man and one of his children are still in critical condition following the accident.
The second child, also under the age of 10, sustained serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

Authorities stated that the crash involved two vehicles colliding head-on, but no one from the other vehicle was harmed.
