The temperature is predicted to fall to -16 C in Mississauga but might feel closer to -24 C by the afternoon.

The weather agency warns about blowing snow later in the day and wind gusts reaching up to 50 km/h.

On Friday night, expect more flurries and partly cloudy skies over the GTA with wind gusts up to 40 km/h.

The low will drop to -21 C but could feel like -30 C in Mississauga due to wind chill.
