Durham Police are on the lookout for at least three individuals following a failed break-and-enter at a residence in Pickering last week.
At 3:25 a. m. on Tuesday, January 13, two male suspects were spotted at the front door of a home located near Turnstone Boulevard and Kerrydale Avenue. According to police, they tried to shatter the front door glass to get inside but didn’t succeed, causing them to flee to a waiting white Honda Civic sedan driven by a third suspect.
The first suspect is described as being 5’10” with an average build. He was wearing a black ski mask, dark sunglasses, a dark Nike hoodie, a black puffer vest, black joggers, and black winter boots.
The second suspect stood around 5’8” with an average build as well. He was seen wearing a black medical mask, black-framed glasses, a grey hoodie, and black jeans.
If anyone can recognize the suspects or has any cellphone footage, dash cam recordings, surveillance images or information related to this incident, they’re urged to reach out to D/Cst. Alexander of the West Division Criminal Investigations Branch at 1-888-579-1520 x 1905.
