We are heartbroken to share the news of Rose-Marie Hennin (Rosie) (nee Beaudoin)’s peaceful passing on November 2, at the age of 81. She is now reunited in heaven with her husband Carl. Rose was a devoted mother to Sheryl and Shawn (Shelagh), a loving Mémé to Kayla and Chase, and a treasured great-Mémé to Kastyn. She was predeceased by her siblings Mary-Jane (Gerard), Carmel (Gerald), and Roger, but is survived by her siblings Vince (Bonnie) and Colleen (Dan). Also predeceased by sisters and brothers-in-law Doris, Harold, Norman, Gary, and Connie; she is survived by Larry, Jo Ann, and Carl Carter. Many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends will deeply miss her, especially Georgette, her lifelong friend.
Rose was a committed Catholic who actively participated in St. Anne’s Parish. She enjoyed serving as Eucharistic Minister during Mass and bringing communion to those who were sick. Traveling and playing cards were some of her favorite pastimes; however, spending time with family was what she cherished most. A true supporter of those in need, she generously shared her time and resources with others in the community.
A visitation will take place at Windsor Chapel Funeral Home – Banwell Chapel (11677 Tecumseh Rd. E, 519-253-7235) on Thursday November 6th from 3-5pm and again from 7-9pm. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Anne’s Parish (12233 Tecumseh Rd E) on Friday November 7th at 1pm, followed by burial at St. Anne’s Cemetery. Instead of flowers, donations can be made to Transition to Betterness, the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Children’s Aid Society Christmas program. For Children’s Aid charity please purchase a gift card from any store you prefer such as Walmart or Toys R Us or grocery stores etc. You can share online condolences and memories with the family at www. windsorchapel. com
