Anna Mc Intyre has been awarded what 4-H Ontario describes as its top volunteer honor.

This recognition highlights outstanding volunteer work with the youth development organization in Ontario and within local communities.

Mc Intyre has held several leadership positions, such as an association board director and a former director with the Ontario 4-H council.

A fellow volunteer remarked that Mc Intyre leads by example, demonstrating integrity, creativity, and true concern for every young person.

The organization noted that Mc Intyre was instrumental in creating opportunities for youth during the COVID-19 pandemic. She began with virtual meetings and later organized hybrid events while keeping safety a priority.

4-H also mentioned her involvement with other community groups like local fairs and the Ottawa Valley Miniature Horse Committee.

Charles Twiss from the Wellington association and Craig Steven from the Elgin association were also recognized for their contributions with this award.
