Zivka Jovanovski (nee Nedelkovski) passed away peacefully on December 11, 2025, at the age of 78, after a brave fight. She was a loving wife to Stojan for 56 wonderful years. She was a proud mother to Sonja Grbevski (Peco) and Dean Jovanovski (Shauna). Zivka was also a devoted Baba to Jessica, Jennifer (Adam), Nicole (Josef), Peter (Emily), Olivia, Ava, Zachary, and great-grandmother to Aksel and Benjamin.
She was a caring sister to Olga (Strecko), late Zivko (late Mira), Stanko (Nada), and late Branko (Blaga). As for her in-laws, she held dear the memories of late Blagun (late Mira), late Pera (late Bozidar), Ljubo (Pavlina), and Fanka (Spiro).
Together with Stojan, Zivka proudly ran Steve and Eddy’s Fish and Chips as well as Tecumseh Trevi Restaurants. Her hard work and warm hospitality made an impact on many lives.
Zivka was known for her strength and grace. Her dedication to family was unwavering. Kindness came naturally to her, touching everyone who crossed her path. Outside of being an incredible family member, she loved the simple joys in life-especially caring for her gardens. She took pride in nurturing her plants with a special fondness for peppers that thrived under her care, reflecting the warmth she shared in all aspects of life.
The family is deeply grateful for the kind staff at Aspen Lake on the Walkerville floor, Dr. Laura Voltic, and everyone whose support surrounded Zivka during this journey. Your love will always be remembered.
