Authorities believe there might be multiple recordings of a doorbell ringer who “commits an indecent act” when he doesn’t get a response.
Halton Regional Police report they are aware of at least two instances in Oakville where the male suspect approached residences and followed through with his actions.
On August 11, the man rang doorbells at homes on Pelee Boulevard in the western GTA area. When no one came to answer, he turned towards the doorbell camera and performed his act.
Police suspect that additional incidents may have happened in nearby neighborhoods.
The suspect is described as a white male in his mid-30s with medium-length brown hair. He was seen wearing a blue T-shirt and white shorts.
A photo of the suspect has been released.
