Remembering Rev. Bill Canada

Rev. William “Bill” Lee Canada Sr, 77, from Knoxville, Tennessee, passed away to be with his heavenly Father on January 3, 2026. Bill served in the Army and spent many years working as a truck driver before he retired and became a reverend.

Rev. Bill is preceded in death by his parents, John and Mamilee (Davis) Canada; his daughter Tina Canada; and seven siblings: Clarence and David Canada, Juanita Chamberlain, Jonnie Mae Baker, Marie Wallace, Minnie Idol, and Joann Deford.

He is survived by his devoted wife Angie; daughter Tammy Faulkner; sons William Lee Canada Jr and Jason Canada; siblings Diane Bunch, Terry Canada, and Kenneth Canada; grandchildren David and Josh Anderson, Melissa Basler, Rebecca Ogle, Lindsay Ramsey, Tommy Underwood, and Christina Allison; several great-grandchildren; along with his special brother-in-law Ronnie Lee Hinds.

The family will welcome friends on Monday, January 12, 2026 from 5-7pm with a service to follow at Mynatt Funeral Home, Fountain City Chapel.

A graveside service with military honors will take place at 10am on Tuesday, January 13, 2026 at East Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery on John Sevier Hwy.

John 3:16 “For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life”.
