Gaetane Menard passed away peacefully at the age of 81 on January 7, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. She was a devoted wife to Tony for 47 years and is now reunited with her first husband, Gerald Renaud.

She was a dear sister to Gerard (late Reggie), Ida (late Dave), Denise (late Ernie), Rheal (Linda), and sister-in-law of Shirley (late George). Her parents, Armand and Helena Dupuis, along with siblings Fernand, Benoit, Aline (Clement), Rita (Melvin), Cecile (Lawrence), Hugette (Laurie), Guy (surviving Judy), Paul, sister-in-law Gail, and brother-in-law Bob predeceased her. Many nieces, nephews, and extended family will miss her dearly.

Gaetane was the heart of her family. She served as their matriarch, their anchor. Knowing her meant feeling the warmth of true love. Her presence on this earth was like that of an angel; she brought gentle blessings to everyone around her. Her kindness had no limits; she radiated grace, and her smile could brighten even the darkest days.

Family meant everything to Gaetane; she valued every gathering as a celebration of love and togetherness. Her home was always open; she embraced everyone who walked through her door. Although she’s left this world, the compassion and joy she spread will live on in the hearts she touched.

The family wishes to express their gratitude to all the staff at Hospice of Windsor for their dedicated care and kindness shown to Gaetane during her time there.

Visitation will occur at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME – BANWELL CHAPEL, located at 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E. (519-253-7235) on Friday, January 9, 2026 from 2-4 pm and again from 6-8 pm. Prayers will be held at 3:00 pm led by the Catholic Women’s League of St. Anne’s Church. Visitation continues Saturday, January 10, 2026 from 11:30 am until the Chapel Service begins at 12:30 pm. Interment will follow at St. Anne’s Cemetery.

If you wish to honor Gaetane’s memory with a donation, contributions may be made to The Hospice of Windsor. You can share your condolences and memories with the family online at www. windsorchapel. com
