We are saddened to share that Kenneth Francis Peltier passed away peacefully on November 10, 2025, at the age of 76. He was born on May 11, 1949, in Windsor and lived a life full of love, laughter, and strong ties to his family and community.
Kenneth was the beloved son of Raymond and Evelyn Peltier (Nee Bausoleil), both of whom have passed away. He is fondly remembered by his devoted wife of 52 years, Debra Peltier (nee Digou). Their journey together began on June 16, 1973, at St. Thomas the Apostle Church. They created a nurturing home for their two children, Christopher (Alicia) and Jillian (Chris), who flourished under his care. Kenneth took great pride in being a father and cherished his role as a grandfather to Marshall and Sullivan, whose presence brought him immense happiness.
For 35 years, Kenneth served his community through Canada Post, where he was appreciated for his kindness and dependability. His warm personality made him friends everywhere he went; he became a respected member of the Tecumseh community.
A passionate cyclist, Kenneth enjoyed life’s simple pleasures like watching boats or attending car shows. He was an active member of the Windsor Model Yacht Club and the Tecumseh Slow Riders where he shared his love for nature and built lasting friendships.
Kenneth is preceded in death by his parents-in-law, Roland and Evelyn Digou, who welcomed him into their family with kindness. He leaves behind values of loyalty and compassion that will live on in those who knew him.
The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to the Dialysis Team – Dr. Bagga along with Dr. Mikhail, as well as all staff at Windsor Hospice who provided incredible care during Kenneth’s illness. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Windsor Hospice in honor of Kenneth’s memory and those who cared for him so well.
A funeral service celebrating Kenneth’s life will take place on November 14, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Windsor Chapel Banwell (11677 Tecumseh Road East, Windsor, ON) with visitation scheduled for November 13 from 2-5 PM and again from 7-9 PM. An inurnment will follow at Ste. Anne’s Cemetery.
