Waterloo Regional Police Service (WRPS) has shared the photo of a person they want to talk to regarding a suspicious fire that occurred near the old Grand River Hospital.
The inquiry started on Feb. 13, when a fire erupted in the parking garage of a residential building located at York Street and Union Boulevard in Kitchener.
Several cars were damaged, and there was harm to the structure as well. The fire department reported that two individuals received treatment for smoke inhalation; one required transfer to a nearby hospital. Many residents have since been moved while repairs and safety inspections are being conducted.
