With heavy hearts, the family of Tom Foley, age 90, announces his peaceful passing on Monday, December 1, 2025. He was a devoted husband to Kathleen (2006), with whom he shared a life full of love and adventure. He is survived by his daughters Marie (Tony) and Dana (Tony), along with his grandsons Kody (Sisi), Dylan (Paige), Callum (Gail), and great grandson Charlie.
Tom was born into a caring Irish family that valued education and knowledge. He moved to Canada in 1956, brought Kathleen over in 1957, and they tied the knot in 1958. Tom embraced his new home and actively participated in both church activities and community events. He was a lifelong member of the Knights of Columbus, where he contributed his building skills during renovations of the Kof C hall and showcased his cooking talents at regular Communion breakfasts. Additionally, he helped establish both the Rover Club and Carabram.
Tom had a deep interest in history, reading, and political discussions-interests that he passed down through generations. He was known for being kind-hearted and generous. Patience defined him. His wisdom shone through every conversation. A quiet supporter of women’s rights, he believed in treating everyone with dignity. His humility set him apart from many others; he will be missed by countless people. In lieu of flowers, please think about donating to the Knights Table or the Alzheimer Society.
