A new housing project has been proposed in Brampton that includes 13 buildings, with heights ranging from eight to 44 storeys, in a largely undeveloped part of the city.

If approved, this development will provide 5,146 residential units featuring one, two, and three-bedroom apartments. This will bring thousands of new residents to the Mississauga Road area, just north of Bovaird Drive West in northwest Brampton.

Brampton’s planning committee is set to review the land use changes requested by developers during a meeting next week. Currently, this land is designated for agricultural use.

The project includes several residential towers – with 11 of them standing at 26 floors or taller – along with ample ground-floor space for offices and various businesses like a restaurant, take-out food place, daycare center, gym, and bank.

Additional features comprise 4,374 parking spots, a new internal street network, and access points from the future Williams Parkway extension.
